Upon the demand of renewing an already existing restaurant with high standards and transforming it into a bistro, its brand identity, concept design and interior design elements have been redefined by Pavé Studio in an uninterrupted integrity. By preserving the existing envelope, the balance of the old and new are perfectly provided with modifications made with dressing solutions and mobile furniture selections. A refined aesthetics is provided in the venue with colours such as green, white, dark wood and silver and sophisticated details such as leather menu to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. The difficulty of adapting to a new concept have been overcome by bringing together too many functions with minimum modifications, and practical ideas have been applied such as preserving the ground as it is, keeping some of the mobile wooden panels on the ceiling and colouring them, and defining the new function of the buffet and bar area without changing their place. 3Four Bistro’s design stage has been completed but its implementation has not yet been realized.
