Metro Auto’s head office located in Istanbul İkitelli at TEM34 has been conceptualized by Pavé Studio as a project upon an expectation of design where all functions are installed in a single space with the most efficient planning, encouraging movement and communication. Metro Auto’s head office has been designed with a new plan where both Anıl Arıman and his father’s personal offices and the employees’ offices as well as the shared spaces and the high-ceiling office are separated into two main sections with a mezzanine floor. With its new design, the office space offers a usage that fits the company’s working culture, encourages creativity, allows movement and flexibility, and most importantly, fits the natural flow of business manners. In the entrance floor of the office that is separated into two, the focus has been to create a functional storage space where cars can comfortably approach as well as an open, spacious and feel-good office space for the emloyees. The mezzanine floor with Anıl Arıman and Ahmet Arıman’s half-open office setup has been constructed in a way that they can communicate uninterruptedly while keeping their own private space. The wooden panel coatings have been added in order to hide the bathroom and private storage spaces and to include this into the office design as an artistic element. The company owners’ passion about the sea and boats are included in the design in a way that is suitable for the office dynamics both with the colours and materials used and the selected artworks as well as with an aquarium, a detail that can directly be associated with water.
