Founded in 1988, Dentamed is Turkey’s first dental polyclinic. The interior design within the scope of the renewal project of its branch on the Bağdat Street at Suadiye, one of Istanbul’s most dynamic neighbourhoods, has been realized by Pavé Studio and implemented together with Pimodek Architecture. The clinic is located in an old building which carries the characteristic features of the old Bağdat Street. A new composition has been created for the clinic with a distribution of space supporting the circulation of users by combining two flats including a reception and waiting room for patients, seven clinics, an operation room, technical rooms, a staff room and shared spaces. With an expectation of a simple, clean and functional clinic, it has been renewed with a design approach which makes no compromises from its clean appearance and also provides spaciousness in terms of visuality and volume with the priority that patients feel calm, comfortable and safe inside the clinic. While the selection of white, grey and natural colours match with materials such as artificial leather and wood, a bright and spacious interior space has been created by means of secret doors and technical lighting solutions with the Deltalight brand used on barrisol ceilings.
