On the occasion of the opening of Circolo del Design’s new address in Torino – a productive, creative, participatory and inclusive open space – its experience-focused installation and store design has been realized by Pavé Studio. A 6-staged design plan has been laid out for the project and shaped with a focus on plays of light, shadow and reflection.
Inspired by life’s dynamic rhythm and the transformative effect of breathing in and out, Inhale X Exhale has been designed with an aim of creating an opportunity to breath in a society full of unusual, hyper-related and distracting stimulants, for everyone experiencing the installation and visiting the temporary store. Designed as an invitation to stop, observe, meditate and turn inwards, the installation includes light, shadow and reflections under the dominance of the flower cloud with a lightweight feeling as well as the surprise effect of the video including all of these on the user experience.
